I like how real your characters are in your comic. I am an artist and for the fun of it I changed one of your photographic-type comic panels to a art based comic panel. If you are curious to see what it looks I temporarily place it at the end of my portfolio at: http://dwportfolio.thecomicseries.com/

DougWarner59: Thanks! It looks like you used a photoshop filter on it? It my not be evident at this resolution, but in fact all the panels in the comic are already filtered — just slightly, to give it a more fluid look. I did experiment with heavier filters, such as you used, but I found that this worked better, for my purposes.

One request: if you've posted my work online, can you make sure to add both a credit and a link back (to the main page here)? Thanks.

I didn't use a filter I reduce the color by indexing, then I used the smudge tool and then I inked it in to give it a more comic type look. I don't know how good filters are in the new version of photoshop, but the filters I use for CS3 and CS4 are kind of limited.

No need for me to link back credits; I was doing to see what you thought, I'll simply remove it.

Well, I really appreciate your showing me. Your process looks quite interesting. I will check it out more. And let me know if you have any "how I did this..." pages or anything like that (I've considered doing some of those myself; I may or may not get around to it.)

I can't understand how someone can interpret the amount of void / nothing / empty space in the universe, after making the planet walk, as "there is hope". Hope - of what?

And it also reminded me of something that Karlheinz Böhm, founder of Menschen für Menschen (Humans for Humans), once said: "In Africa, there is a worm, that creeps into a child's eye, eats the eye and the child goes blind. God also created this worm!"
